12inch The Big Lebowski Figure Update!

To Cancel or not to Cancel – that is the question! We have been reading your comments and we sincerely appreciate your support of our brand and your feedback. And now the facts: Entertainment Earth did change the status on the 12inch The Big Lebowski figures to canceled – and it's true for now. These 12-inch figures are a casualty of a basic rule of economics - supply and demand. If the demand is not there, then there can be no supply. Even though everyone loves how the prototypes turned out, and we've had great interest and publicity, pre-sales have not been strong enough to warrant a full production run today. The good news is that this absolutely does NOT change the status of the 8-inch Urban Achiever action figures, which are in production today. Shipping is scheduled for late November. AND there will be Wave 2 of The Big Lebowski 8-Inch Urban Achiever action figures! More details coming soon!

Hello everyone, Lenzi coming at ya with more exciting news of how Bif Bang Pow! is becoming the brand of choice for all good magazines. If you haven't checked it out yet, GEEK Magazine is one of the coolest new periodicals on the stands these days. It features all the cool content we discerning geeks demand, covering the world of movies, television, gaming, collectibles and comics. In the past, they've had the hip insight to feature the likes of Rainn Wilson (The Office), Greg Grunberg (Heroes) and 30 Rock's Tina Fey (current issue!) on their covers, and now you have no excuse not to check it out: The Dude and Flash Gordon are making cameo appearances. In a move that proves that Flash and Lebowski merchandise is going to be the must have swag for this holiday season, the guys have been featured on another list (together for the first time!), in the latest issue of GEEK. Gordon's Alive!!

Hey true believers-er, I mean, Bif Bang Pow-ers, Jason Lenzi coming at you with some more out of this world news (see what I did there?). Our boys, Mr. Gordon and Mr. Merciless, have gone and done it: they've made it onto a list of their own. Obviously a little tired and a fair bit jealous of all the press Lebowski and Sobchack have been getting of late, they've headed on over to the offices of Sci Fi Magazine and made their presence known. Yes folks, the warm vibes of the BBP train keep rolling through the ether, 'cause in the brand new October issue of Sci Fi Magazine (the official publication of the Sci Fi Channel, don't cha know) Flash and Ming action figures have placed in the top ten of their monthly Watch List. And look who we're rubbing shoulders with: JJ Abrams, Optimash Prime and Supes himself. Once again, we find ourselves in esteemed company, and we couldn't be more proud. Until, of course, all of YOU get your sets of Flash and Ming, when we'll r...

Hey True Believers and Achievers of all ages and sizes, Lenzi here, back at BBP headquarters after an exciting and fruitful Comic Con experience. Each year it seems to get more and more hectic down there, and 2007 was no exception. This was our first year with an exclusive, the Dude Talking Bobble head, and I'm happy to say it was a success. What little we have left are over at Entertainment Earth, so follow the link ( www.entertainmentearth.com) and snap one up. Or how's about getting two, Labour Day is coming up, I'm sure there's someone on your gift list that needs the Dude's words of wisdom. And while I'm at it, I should mention that our Alex Ross edition Flash and Ming are a limited run, so pre-order now! I also wanted to take a moment to thank as many folks as I can for making BBP's time down at SDCC a great ex...
